Aston Villa Women suffered their fourth consecutive WSL loss as Tottenham Hotspur thrashed them 7-3. The result sees Villa drop to ninth in the league table, while Tottenham move closer to securing a Champions League spot. Martin Ho's side were unable to cope with Tottenham's high press, conceding 25 goals in their past six league games. Kirsty Hanson scored twice for Villa, but it was not enough to prevent the defeat. The result will give Villa plenty of cause for concern, with four consecutive defeats and a leaky defence.
